Our October SuperSealer is an outdoorswoman as comfortable on the slopes as she is at the helm of her European sales team. With 23 years' experience under her belt, she's an old hand, but also a passionate innovator committed to superior customer experiences.

Who are you?

My name is Anja Bitenc Jenko, and I’m a Regional Sales Manager for Trelleborg Seals & Profiles. I’m responsible for markets in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.

How long have you worked in this position and what are your key duties?

I’ve worked as a Regional Sales Manager since our business joined Trelleborg Group almost three years ago. Together with my German team, I provided assurance and support during the integration of our business into Trelleborg Group. I try to simplify workflow where possible and support my team in all sales activities. I’m keenly aware that success in my role requires good communication skills and strong bonds with both management and my team.

What do you like about working with Trelleborg?

I’ve worked at the Slovenia operation for 23 years. Throughout my career I’ve covered international sales, management, and development projects. I’ve always enjoyed working in an international business environment, where I collaborate with people from all over the world. Being a part of the Trelleborg organization has given me the opportunity to meet fantastic people who have become valued colleagues. I like that there’s always a new challenge to keep things interesting at Trelleborg.

What are the key challenges you face in your job?

My biggest challenge is to consistently provide the support my team needs to deliver excellent service to our customers. And in the current market we also face extreme challenges that are largely beyond our control. That’s why we remain committed to creating new opportunities, delivering a high standard of service to our customers and achieving the results our company expects.

How do you think the business in your area is going to evolve in the future? How are you preparing for this?

The global economy is booming, which means countless opportunities for growth. Existing niches in the industry mean there’s a demand for high-quality and innovative products. We’re focused on pushing sales activity to stimulate opportunities for growth and new development projects. And while we’re always on the lookout for potential new customers, we remain deeply committed to our long-term customer relationships. Our role is to continually identify customers’ needs and specific pain points to deliver solutions. And increased demand in the market means we always have to act fast.

What do you do in your free time?

I’m a wife and a mother of two lovely daughters, who are 18 and 21. I like to spend time with friends, travel, and I have an adventurous streak too. I like mountain climbing, skiing, and going for rides on my new e-bike. Slovenia boasts breathtaking natural beauty and we feel very blessed to live here.
