About Us

Trelleborg Printing Solutions is a leading global manufacturer, proposing high performance and first class solutions for offset and flexo printing. Vulcan®, Rollin®, Printec® and Sava® are brand leaders, providing offset printing blankets for newspapers, magazines and catalogues, business forms, metal decorating and packaging markets plus a wide range of printing blankets for special printing machines. Trelleborg printing blankets are suitable for all kind of inks: conventional, hybrid and UV.
At Trelleborg we design and manufacture a wide product range of Axcyl® mounting sleeves and bridges, for flexographic printers. In the manufacturing site of Mirambeau (France) Trelleborg produces wide web and narrow web plate mounting sleeves since more than 25 years, with an average life span of 10 years. Thanks to their unique composite honeycomb structure, Axcyl flexo sleeves are the lightest, the stiffest and also the most stable of the market.

Long history in printing

Vulcan® and Rollin® are two brands with a long history, back to 1854 for Rollin® and early 1900 for Vulcan®. In 2011 Printec® entered the Trelleborg brand portfolio, by the acquisition of the printing blankets business of Day Brazil SA.

2006: Trelleborg AB acquires Reeves
The graphic arts industry has become an increasingly important market for Trelleborg since it purchased Reeves in 2006 and took over the well established Vulcan® brand
2008: Trelleborg acquires MacDermid Offset Printing Blankets and NIP Systems
The acquisition from the US group MacDermid Inc was signed on June 2nd 2008. Two brands entered into the product portfolio: Rollin® and Axcyl® brands
This acquisition strengthens significantly our product portfolio and geographical presence around the world, providing a solid platform for continued growth in the future
2013: Trelleborg acquires Printec® Brazil

This acquisition strengthens our position in high-end segments in North America, adding the Printec® brand to our portfolio

It covers our presence in packaging printing and specific applications as coating and beverage can

The state-of-the-art facility in Barueri, São Paulo, will allow the group to create a platform for local presence in the region and growth in the graphic arts industry
2016: Trelleborg expands website with worldwide printing solutions success stories

In 2016 Trelleborg AB finalized the acquisition of CGS Holding a.s. that brought to Trelleborg Printing Solutions a new brand, SAVA, originally manufactured in Kranj, Slovenija.

Always up to date on new developments, Trelleborg saw in the early '90s the potential of digital print and is today Partner of leading OEMs.
