Vertical and horizontal house pipe repairs without breaking walls
Leaking down-pipes and sewers in buildings still typically mean bad smells for the residents and can,in the worst case, result in structural damage and moist walls or even mouldiness.
Conventional repair methods – breaking up of walls and/or grounds – then make people suffer noise, dirt and service disruption. Trelleborg Pipe Seals have a remedy for this problem: The Trelleborg LCR-B repair method repairs laterals without breaking out walls or excavations, and thus means much less annoyance of residents.
The Trelleborg LCR-B is a pipe repair device or method for the rehabilitation of in-house down-pipes and underground sewers.
In this innovative method, the repair unit - the so called packer - is inserted in the existing access holes, chambers or eyes of the rainwater or wastewater down-pipe and sewer and pushed to the point of repair by means of compressed-air push rods.
As the LCR-B packer is highly flexible, it will smoothly negotiate 45° elbows in a DN 100 main pipe and even 90° elbows in lines of DN 125 or more.
An inspection camera is placed into the branch line and pushed up to the main/branch interface.
Once the LCR-B packer has reached the junction, the mouth piece of the LCR-B hat profile or LCR-B liner can be turned by means of the locked air push rods for proper alignment with the branch.
The LCR-B hat profile in the main pipe seals the interface between the two pipe systems with its rim only, whereas the LCR-B liner is designed as a short liner in the down pipe or house sewer.
Low cost: Just buy the packers actually required - investment is small
Time saving: 50% less operating time due to steam curing
Before and after curing
About a third of the most sewer systems is older than 75 years
The average life span of pipes and sewers counts 80 years.
More then 40% of private property drainage pipes are estimated to be defect
Drugs, sweeteners and hormones can only be partially biodegraded.
Technical Approvals, Patents, Quality Standards
In conformance with worldwide standards
DN 50 to DN 200
with resin systems
EPROPOX HC60 and HC120
Rehabilitation of defective sanitary pipes, rainwater downpipes and house drains inside the building structure
Devices meet the requirements of the applicable EC directives
In confirmance with European standards
Packers are available in different sizes: S and L for lateral rehabilitation lengths of 280 mm/11 inch and 1180 mm/46.5 inch respectively. They can easily be converted into the dimension that is needed for the lateral connection (DN 50 - DN 200).
Usable for both, hot water or steam cure.
The LCR-B control box controls the compressed air and the vacuum for the LCR-B packer.
Push rods are available in different materials and lengths (0.7 m; 1.5 m; 3.0 m)
LCR-B air push rods are equipped with safety coupler and lock.
This small steam unit is the best solution if you want to speed up the curing time of built-in hat profiles
or LCR liner, using the Trelleborg LCR method for lateral connection repair of underground house
