Trelleborg expands its pipe seals manufacturing capability in the US

Milford, NH, Oct. 26, 2017 - Today, Trelleborg’s pipe seals operation inaugurates its manufacturing facility in Bonne Terre, Missouri, in the U.S. The size of the facility has almost doubled with a 17,800 square feet extension, which will allow for increased production and storage of pipe seals.

Rob Brockway, Director of Operations, Trelleborg’s pipe seals operation in Missouri, says: “The water and wastewater industry is increasingly coming under the spotlight as rapid urbanization and rising living standards put pressure on already aging infrastructure. As a result, we have experienced significant growth in the demand for pipe repair products as well as manhole and pipe construction sealing solutions.

“The expansion at the facility will not only allow for increased production rates and improved efficiency, but will also enable us to invest in new, high performance equipment and machinery. The increased inventory, in a location central to the North American market, will help us to deliver an improved service and lead times to customers in the region. Additionally, the extra space will support continued expansion of our production operations. This will allow continued growth in our current products and the capacity to add new products in the future.”
