Part 1: Tuesday, October 11
Our ‘Week in the Life’ this month focuses on our Global Buoyancy Team. The team meets 3 times a year alternating locations between our Houston, TX and Skelmersdale, UK facilities. Both facilities are experts in manufacturing buoyancy solutions for the offshore oil and gas industry.
The Global Buoyancy Team is made up of technical specialists and executive managers from the UK and US. Their goal is to collaborate on product and material developments for all buoyancy applications globally.

Part 2: Wednesday, October 12
This week the Global Buoyancy Team met in Skelmersdale to discuss milestones, review progress of projects and improve team communication and collaboration worldwide.
In this photo the team is hosting a Stage Gate meeting with senior management in the UK. During this meeting, the team approves current and new projects for progression.

Part 3: Thursday, October 13
Today, the Global Buoyancy Team takes a tour of the production facility to check on the progress of their developments in the production facility. A few of our current buoyancy systems include distributed buoyancy modules, modular buoys and buckling mitigation buoyancy.

Part 4: Friday, October 14
The technical specialists and executive managers from the UK and US facilities meet and discuss the progress of the selected projects. Through this collaboration, the team is able to fully use their expertise and innovation to improve our products and materials to exceed customer expectations.
