Odin DC (Diaphragm closure) seals the platform legs and skirt sleeves to provide buoyancy during the installation of substructures. These closures are attached to the legs and skirt sleeves by fastening rings or flanges, that also hold the rubber diaphragms in place. Made from highly reinforced rubber, Odin DC is designed to withstand the hydrostatic pressure during jacket flooding operations.
Odin GP (Grout Packer) provides a reliable and robust seal between the ID of the jacket or skirt and the OD of the driven pile. When fully inflated by a gas or liquid, Odin GP seals the annulus and grout is injected between the pile and leg.
Odin GS (Grout Seal) assists grout packers in ensuring that the jacket pile annulus is clean by preventing mud contamination. For specific applications, Odin GS can be used alone without Odin GP, for example at shallow water depths. When the pile is driven through, the tension on the rubber as it slides along the pile seals and the annulus, ensures proper grouting. Odin GS is engineered to tolerate reverse movement in the pile.
Odin SPG (Skirt Pile Gripper) is welded onto the upper of the jackets skirt pile, helping to hold the piles firmly in position to secure the platform and ensure a secure and stable foundation. Odin SPG provides a temporary retention of the jacket's elevation position during the leveling operations and grout process, until the grout between the pile and jacket has set and installation is complete.
