Thor R (Reducer) and Thor Y (Y pieces) enable terminals to load and off-load from a wide range of tankers. They are self-supporting within the hose string.
Thor R and Thor Y pieces are designed to split the flow of oil from a single larger diameter hose to two smaller ones. Floating concentric reducers are used to reduce a large diameter mainline to a smaller diameter tail line.
The metalwork is fabricated to industry guidelines and then closed-cell polyethylene foam buoyance is added with a protective polyurethane elastomer skin.
