Posidonia 2022

Trelleborg’s marine and infrastructure operation will showcase its portfolio of world-leading energy transfer systems technology as well as its navigation and piloting solutions at this year’s Posidonia, which will be held at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, Greece from June 6-10, 2022.

Representatives from Trelleborg will be on hand to discuss its SmartPort enabled Ship-Shore Links (SSLs), Universal Safety Links (USLs) and Emergency Shutdown Links (ESLs), which offer a reliable way of enabling rapid and controlled shutdown should an emergency situation arise during the transfer of LNG, LPG, oil, chemicals and other hazardous liquids. Together with Trelleborg’s Emergency Shut-Down Systems (ESDSs), the links provide an economical and extremely space efficient solution for the provision of the critical SSL – ESDS link in safety systems.

Trelleborg’s stand will also showcase its portfolio of SafePilot solutions including various portable navigation systems that provide ports with important, real-time navigation information, enabling pilots with greater control, safety and accuracy during port approach and maneuvers. One of the solutions on display will be the Trelleborg’s latest SafePilot solution, CAT PRO, a completely independent Portable Pilot Unit (PPU) designed to overcome the limitations of AIS and Wi-Fi range. SafePilot CAT PRO has been specifically designed for use in demanding applications that require the highest positioning and speed accuracy such as piloting in narrow channels and confined waters.
