In collaboration with PIANC, Trelleborg and IRM is teaming up to host an informative one-day workshop on marine fender systems, covering topics such as fender testing, berthing energy calculations, fender selection, and sustainability. Taking place on 5th April 2023, Wednesday at the Hilton International Mumbai Hotel in Mumbai, India, the workshop will also offer an insight into the upcoming PIANC WG211 Marine Fender Guidelines.

 

Marine fenders are an essential part of port and maritime infrastructure. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of its design, production process, and testing, as recommended by the PIANC guidelines, is essential.
