Trelleborg will showcase its portfolio of SafePilot solutions including various portable navigation systems that provide ports with important, real-time navigation information, enabling pilots with greater control, safety and accuracy during port approach and manoeuvres. One of the solutions on display will be the Trelleborg’s latest SafePilot solution, CAT PRO, a completely independent Portable Pilot Unit (PPU) designed to overcome the limitations of AIS and Wi-Fi range. SafePilot CAT PRO has been specifically designed for use in demanding applications that require the highest positioning and speed accuracy such as piloting in narrow channels and confined waters.
