Australian Marine Institute Conference 2023

Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure is pleased to be a Gold Sponsor of the Australian Marine Institute Conference 2023, which will take place in Hobart, Australia, from 27th February to 1st March 2023.

As part of the Australasian Marine Pilots Institute, this event will focus on the core concerns of marine pilots and cover a wide range of topics, including building resilient pilotage. Experts from Australasia, Europe, and Asia will present topics of interest to Marine Pilots, Regulators, Port Operators, and Industry Leaders. Attendees will also get the opportunity to network with maritime experts from Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.

The conference program will include a presentation from our Sales Manager for Navigation and Piloting, Jacco Vonk, on 31st March at 12.15 pm, discussing the use of SafePilot and CAT PRO to resolve a wide range of mooring scenarios. He will also present an overview of how and when a dynamic mooring system, like Trelleborg's DynaMoor, can be used in berth mooring arrangements to reduce vessel motions and improve berth uptime.

Our Regional Sales Manager for Docking and Mooring in Australia, Paul Weston, and Regional Sales Manager for Marine Fenders, James Curl, will be on hand to demonstrate our SmartMoor and SafePilot solutions, including our next-generation navigation, piloting, docking and mooring, and marine fender solutions.
