57th EMPA General Meeting

Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure is pleased to be an exhibitor at the 57th EMPA General Meeting in Rome, Italy from 25 to 28 April 2023. The event brings together Marine Pilots from the Europe to discuss the latest developments in navigation and piloting.

Trelleborg will showcase its portfolio of SafePilot solutions including various portable navigation systems that provide ports with important, real-time navigation information, enabling pilots with greater control, safety and accuracy during port approach and maneuvers. Among the solutions on display will be Trelleborg's latest SafePilot solution, CAT PRO, a completely independent Portable Pilot Unit (PPU) that overcomes the limitations of AIS and Wi-Fi range. SafePilot CAT PRO has been specifically designed for use in demanding applications that require the highest positioning and speed accuracy such as piloting in narrow channels and confined waterways.

Andy Nattrass, Sales Manager, and Kasper Broegaard Simonsen, Senior Software Developer will be on hand to discuss Trelleborg's next generation of integrated navigation and piloting software and hardware.
