Advice to users of Trelleborg food hoses

Before you start using your Trelleborg food hose:

- Fill hose with hot water (+ 70 °C to + 80 °C).
- Keep water inside for minimum 12 hours.
- Then, clean hose using any of the following cleaning processes.


Nitric acid (HNO3) or product with additional nitric acid.
Maximum concentration: 0.1 % at 85°C
3 % at room temperature

Chlorine (Cl) or product with additional chlorine.
Maximum concentration: 1 % at maximum 70°C

Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) or product with additional sodium hydroxide.
Maximum concentration: 2 % from 60°C to 80°C
5 % at room temperature

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) or product with additional hydrogen peroxide.
Maximum concentration: 3 % at room temperature
MILLESIME only: 1.5 % at maximum 85°C
