In floating wind farms offshore, Trelleborg provides pipelines such as flexible risers, cables and umbilicals the needed buoyancy required to hold specific geometric configurations designed to prevent over utilization of the system.

For ROV, AUV and HOV's buoyancy is a key part of the overall system to ensure that the vehicles remain slightly positively buoyant. Our low density syntactic foam for deep sea buoyancy applications is called Eccofloat®.
