Trelleborg Returns to South Africa’s NAMPO Harvest Day 2022

TrelleborgNAMPO2022
Trelleborg will showcase its newest tyres, made for the latest agricultural equipment and designed for the future of farming, at NAMPO Harvest Day 2022, from May 17 to 20, in Bothaville South Africa. Agricultural professionals will be able to see Trelleborg’s high performance tyre solutions first-hand, engineered to respond to the most demanding challenges in South Africa’s farming industry at stand number B13A.

Richard Leborgne, Managing Director Africa & Middle East at Trelleborg, remarked: “We’re excited to return to NAMPO Harvest Day to bring our customers the best possible solutions for advanced agricultural practices, and to demonstrate how tyre technologies can boost productivity whilst safeguarding the soil and the environment. We love to have the opportunity to meet with our customers in such an important part of the world. These interactions give us the necessary input to create innovative solutions and allow us to continue our journey together to meet the farming demands of the future.”

The outdoor exhibition will take place over 80 hectares and include vast fields for agriculture professionals to see equipment at work in real-time applications, including Trelleborg’s TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® tyres fitted to a Fendt 1050 tractor, with its extra-wide footprint for superior flotation, that minimizes soil compaction.

Visitors to Trelleborg’s stand will be able to learn more about its wide range of tyres, including the TM90 tyres, a cross-ply tyre made to perform both in the field and on the road. The TM90 tyre features a unique inter-lug terrace design for improved self-cleaning and higher resistance when running on rocky or tough surfaces. Also on display will be Trelleborg’s TM3000 tyre, engineered for future generations of harvesters, combines and spreaders. Its specific tread pattern and advanced carcass design maximizes load capacity while working efficiently even at low inflation pressure. The TM3000 protects crops, the soil and the planet, and provides greater crop yields.

Trelleborg experts will be on hand to introduce high tech solutions to visitors, with a digital innovation corner featuring the online Farming Simulator game, and Trelleborg’s Virtual Tiye Showroom, a 360-degree immersive experience that allows uses to select from a range of 3D tyre models and choose the best tyre for their application. Visitors to the stand will also get the chance to enter a prize draw to win a hamper.
