Trelleborg’s Award-Winning TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® Tire to be Showcased at FIMA 2020
Trelleborg is proud to be showcasing its latest innovations in agricultural equipment, including the award-winning TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® tire, at FIMA 2020, from 25 February to 29 February, in Zaragoza, Spain.
Visitors to the Trelleborg stand—Hall 7, Booth D/7, at Feria de Zaragoza—will see live demonstrations of TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® , which was awarded “Best Agricultural Tire for 2019” at the Hevea Tire Industry Awards on 9 January 2020 at IFEMA, in Madrid, Spain.

The ProgressiveTraction® tread design was conceived to tackle the requirements of the latest generation of machinery, increasing power transmission efficiency to the ground while reducing soil compaction. At the same time, the double-edge-lug tread design was developed to reduce vibration, lowering energy dissipation, minimizing fuel consumption, as well as extending service life. Testing revealed that the tire reduces fuel consumption by up to 3% and extends tire service life by up to 5%.
FIMA 2020 guests are invited to visit the Trelleborg stand to witness the outstanding technology and performance of the TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® tire, which will be displayed on a tractor mock-up. Visitors will also see the launch of Trelleborg’s new CTIS+ System—a full OEM integrated central pressure control system, allowing tractor drivers to inflate or deflate the tire pressure directly from the tractor cabin, according to the recommended pressure calculated by the advanced Trelleborg Load Calculator (TLC) software.
