Njord BS (Bend Stiffener) are used in both fixed and floating offshore wind farms, to protect subsea cables from over bending at the termination point. Njord BS is suited to the constant wave and current-induced motion of dynamic installations but can also be used for static applications.

Njord BS has a guaranteed design, that maintains the manufacturer's recommended minimum bend radius (MBR) of the cable during the life of the project.

Njord BS provides a suitable load path from tubular to fixed structures with reduced point loading at the termination to an acceptable level.
