Trelleborg and ABB shared third place. First and second place in this category were held by Skanska and SKF.
The two other categories were Materials and Consumer goods companies. Stora Enso and Electrolux were ranked best in their respective categories. The ranking itself was carried out by Lund University under supervision of an advisory committee.
"I am of course very pleased that Trelleborg stands out as one of the best Swedish Large Cap companies in this new ranking," says Rosman Jahja, Vice President Corporate Responsibility. "It confirms that we are doing the right things within the area of sustainability."
The ranking includes OMX Nasdaq listed companies that belong to the three GICS industry groups: Capital goods, Consumer goods as well as Materials. The ranking is based on several different parts. In addition to mapping information from corporate reports and websites, companies have responded to a survey about their work with the UN Sustainability development goals, environment, climate, human rights, anti-corruption and employee issues. The ranking has been carried out by the School of Economics at Lund University together with an advisory board.
