Trelleborg features new and advanced products at SIMA 2011

Trelleborg Wheel Systems presents the best of its high-quality tires and complete wheel solutions in hall 6, stand B022 at the SIMA show to be held in Paris, France, from 20 to 24 February, 2011. New solutions on show will include the 710/70R42 TM900 High Power tire engineered for the newest generation of tractors, the 900/60R32 TM2000, the latest breed of harvesting radial tire and size 710/50R26.5 Twin Radial. The stand also features the new Trelleborg dual mounting systems, named Twinning.
The new 710/70R42 TM900 High Power has been engineered by Trelleborg to enhance the performance of the newest generation of high horse-power tractors in any application. The extra wide lug gives outstanding performance on the road providing the farmer with premium wear resistance while coping with highly demanding and powerful tractors. Moreover, designed with the most advanced 3D design techniques, the tread profile guarantees excellent traction in the field, with minimum soil compaction over the entire product life.
Resulting from the advanced expertise of Trelleborg in agricultural applications, TM2000 is the state-of-the-art solution for harvesting and combines machines. Thanks to its unique shoulder and tread profile, TM2000 gives unbeatable resistance to fatigue along with high resistance to impact and puncturing, preventing machine breakdown for the farmer. It also gives optimal lateral stability and high load capacity in all working conditions.
The new size 710/50R26.5 Twin Radial has superior floatation characteristics on trailers and slurry tankers, to further respect the soil and improve driver’s comfort by lowering noise. In addition, long tire life contributes significantly to lower overall operating costs for the farmer.
The Trelleborg wheel rim range includes high quality solutions for forestry, agricultural, industrial and earth moving applications with diameters from 75 to 1,168mm/ three to 46 inches. The Twinning is a dual mounting system that is fitted on the hub and is supplied in custom width sizes. Its innovative design enables easy mounting, even in the field when the wheels are not level. The system allows original wheels to be converted to dual wheels and is available in standard and heavy duty versions, depending on horsepower.
The theme of the stand is ‘Sorry, we only make tires for agriculture’ which underlines that, due to its specialist nature, Trelleborg develops high quality, premium performance solutions for agricultural vehicles. The theme will be illustrated on the stand with a car fitted with four of the company’s largest TM900 High Power agricultural tires.
SIMA 2011 will take place from 20 to 24 February at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Park, Paris, France. One of the most international agricultural exhibitions, SIMA is held every other year. It brings together the entire industry: agricultural machinery, stockbreeding and renewable energies.
