New tread for TM900 High Power tire from Trelleborg improves performance

Trelleborg Wheel Systems introduces an innovative tread design for the size 710/70R42 TM900 High Power. Compared to the previous version, the tread has a new lug profile with 15 percent larger lug volume.
“Our new 710/70R42 TM900 High Power is the perfect combination of unrivalled field performance and outstanding road behavior. This is a major advantage in modern extra large agricultural tires,” says Emiliana Vesco, Product Manager of Trelleborg’s Agriculture division. “This new design optimizes field performance guaranteeing a traction in furrow improved by 9 percent compared to the previous version and gives outstanding results on the road with a 25 percent increase in wear resistance and
five percent improvement in handling and comfort”.
TM900 High Power Tires are specially developed to be fitted onto high-power
agricultural vehicles and tractors. They guarantee performance at high speeds, assure superior traction capacity and cope with the demand for increasingly large loads. All of this is done with minimal soil compaction for maximum agronomic yield.
