History
Vulcan® and Rollin® are two brands with a long history and track records back to 1854 for Rollin® and early 1900 for Vulcan®. In 2011 the Group added the Printec® brand to its portfolio, acquiring the printing blankets business of Day Brazil SA.
Printec® has a strong presence in Latin America and in the U.S. In 2016 Trelleborg AB finalized the acquisition of CGS Holding a.s. – a privately-owned company with leading positions in agricultural, industrial and specialty tires as well as engineered polymer solutions such as printing blankets. The result of CGS acquisition brought to the printing solutions operations of Trelleborg a new brand, the SAVA, made in Slovenja.
Always up to date on new developments, Trelleborg saw in the early '90s the potential of digital print and is today Partner of leading OEMs.

Trelleborg is a leading player in the printing market, with a network of highly experienced distributors ensuring local service and support in more than 60 countries. Our manufacturing facilities can be found across the world, including in Brazil, China, France, Italy, Slovenja and the US.
Constantly working to improve printing manufacturing processes and finished products to provide the most environmentally-friendly solutions possible, Trelleborg’s commitment has been reinforced through the introduction in Italy of the solvent-free roller head line, an important sustainable initiative that improves the printing process. This new product line not only improves our production speed and product quality, but is also solvent-free, meaning a much more environmentally-friendly solution. To compete in the global market any printing solution is analyzed, developed and tested in various laboratories which are part or Trelleborg’s Research and Innovation centers. Trelleborg in Slovenja is part of an R&D Institute founded in 1963 and takes part to projects strengthened by industrial and academic partners. It is a Central Europe pillar in the development of elastomeric materials and it is registered with the Slovenian Research Agency.
