The epros®DrainLining method is a cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP) process used in trenchless pipe and sewer rehabilitation ("no-dig" applications).
The start or end point can be a manhole, inspection hole or cleaning eye or a open cut pipe. The basic condition is that there is enough space to place the inversion fitting of the inversion unit or water rig. Also, the liner may pass through several manholes between the start and end points, inclusive of manholes with channel diversion. It is possible to install the liner along channel diversions or invert bends at an angle up to 90 degrees.
The process allows nominal diameters between DN 30 and DN 1200 as well as diverse eggshaped and special sewer sizes to be rehabilitated and obsolete laterals to be closed.
The various general technical approvals (DIBt approvals) apply to different pipe sizes and vary according to resin system or liner material.
