Checker®

Checker®- Daring designs for tough environments

Checker creates the right atmosphere in shops, offices, stairways, corridors and entrances, and is also ideal for terminals, universities, libraries and other public areas. Due to its characteristic checkered pattern and bright surface, Checker is instantly recognizable. The shine helps to emphasize the high quality of the flooring while adding a little extra to your carefully planned interiors.

The checkered pattern surface layer is durable and non-slip. Checker is a sandwich construction – its three layers are vulcanized into a homogenous material. The softer middle layer dampens noise, insulates against cold and heat, and keeps you feet comfortable while standing or walking on the flooring. As the flooring has a polyester backing, it is possible to use an eco-friendly water-based adhesive.

Key characteristics: fire resistant, electrically insulating, high chemical resistance, color fastness and dimension stability.

Checker comes in a wide range of bold and bright shades – there are six standards colors, and a further 22 are available to order.

Checker®Stud

Checker®Stud - Strong and silent

Checker Stud is the perfect choice for public areas with heavy pedestrian traffic such as terminals, corridors, waiting rooms, airports, libraries and shops.

Checker Stud is equally as hardwearing as Checker, but offers a different surface appearance with a low-profile stud pattern. The softer middle layer dampens noise, insulates against cold and heat, and keeps your feet comfortable while standing or walking on the flooring. As the flooring has a polyester backing, it is possible to use an eco-friendly water-based adhesive.

Key characteristics: fire resistant and electrically insulating, high chemical resistance, color fastness and dimension stability.

Although the surface is bright, it is not as pronounced as Checker due to the use of more earthy colors. There are six standard colors and a further ten are available to order. This discreet, hardwearing flooring offers virtually unlimited possibilities to match your interior design.

Industrial Checker®

Industrial Checker® - Improves the working environment

Trelleborg's industrial flooring is not only available in four different qualities, but also in two different patterns – a checkered pattern, Industrial Checker, or a low-profile stud pattern, Industrial Checker Stud.

The industrial qualities are manufactured in thicknesses of 3 and 5 mm, both with and without a polyester fabric backing. The polyester fabric permits the use of water-based eco-friendly floor adhesives. Industrial Checker is available in black or grey, depending on the application.

The four industrial qualities are:

Checker® 1729

Sound and vibration dampening
Trelleborg's standard industrial flooring quality – a black, homogenous, rubber floor covering for industrial applications.

Applications: walkways and in front of machines and heavy equipment (where the demands for durability and oil resistance are lower), in forklifts, trucks and other vehicles, around machines, in drawers, on shelves.

Key characteristics: comfortable to walk and stand on, anti-slip surface, sound insulating, vibration dampening.

Checker® 2394

Oil resistant
Black homogenous, oil-resistant, antistatic material.

Applications: suitable for oily environments and for use in areas where the flooring is used to conduct away electricity.

Checker® 5485

Electrically insulating
Grey, electrically insulating material.

Applications: for use around electric machinery and fuse boxes, same applications as 1729, and as kick protection on walls and pillars.

Key characteristics:
electrically insulating, sound insulating, vibration dampening.

Checker® 310

Extra durable
Checker Traffic is a homogenous type of rubber flooring.

Applications: in vehicles, heavy industry workshops, changing rooms, players' tunnels, and under players' benches in ice rinks. Suitable for outdoor applications.

Key characteristics: extremely hardwearing, good anti-slip surface, weatherproof.
