Antivibration solutions for light and heavy vehicles
Trelleborg and Freudenberg formed in July 2012 a 50/50 joint venture in antivibration solutions for light and heavy vehicles, TrelleborgVibracoustic.
The joint venture comprise of Trelleborg's earlier operation in antivibration solutions and Freudenberg's corresponding operation, Vibracoustic.
TrelleborgVibracoustic is the global market leader in the field of automotive vibration control technology, with 17 percent market share for anti-vibration technology. The company supplies passenger vehicle manufacturer, commercial vehicle manufacturer, and tier 1 supplier in the world with components that clearly and noticeably boost the comfort on board. Its bearings, mounts, springs, isolators, and mass dampers reduce the noise and vibrations caused not only by powertrains, but also by adverse road conditions.
Its production network is as global as the automotive industry: with 10,000 employees at 39 sites in 19 countries worldwide. The joint venture’s headquarter is located to Darmstadt, Germany. Net sales during 2014 amounted to EUR 1,779.3 M.
Supervisory Board and Management Board
The Management Board of TrelleborgVibracoustic consists of Frank Müller, CFO, Stefan Eck, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Jörg Böcking, Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Chairman of the Supervisory Board is Dr. Mohsen Sohi, speaker of the Management Board of the Freudenberg & Co.
