Proven processes, latest innovations

Our production processes are based on well-established principles, but remain at the cutting edge of innovation. We employ the latest coating, lamination and hot melt technology to ensure the strongest materials can be produced on time and on budget.

Screen coating

The fabric is passed between rotating screens where compound is applied to both sides simultaneously. The material is then infrared dried before entering a second screen coating tower. Oven curing and inline inspection is the final step. Only one pass is required using this process.

Saturation

The fabric is submerged in a dip tank then passed between pad rollers to control the amount of coating.

Spread coating

The base fabric is passed beneath a stationary blade, then through a drying oven where solvent is driven off. One or more passes are used to build the coating to the desired thickness.

3-roll or 4-roll calendering

The rubber compound is formed into a film by the top two rolls and transferred to the fabric as it passes between the two lower rolls. We offer both 3-roll and 4-roll calendering capabilities.

Roller head calendering

A rubber film is formed by extruding and shaping between two calender rolls.

Rotocure

The netting is created between the polymer chains to obtain the final desired properties of the product.

Lamination and hot melt

We provide film lamination capability for urethane-coated fabrics, as well as fabric-to-fabric lamination, which offers maximum quality and strength at a wide variety of gauges.

Material preparation
