Workplace - Quotes

Governance: Workplace

Trelleborg’s policy in the Working Conditions area is primarily regulated by the Group’s Code of Conduct (trade union issues, discrimination, diversity/equality, training/development), the Environment, Health and Safety Policy, and other governance documents issued by Group Human Resources

The overriding responsibility for issues within the framework of this category is borne by the head of Group Human Resources, while compliance in daily work is the responsibility of line managers. Line managers are also responsible for ensuring that training related to the Group’s Code of Conduct is included in employee training programs. The Group conducts training activities and communication to support this.

The main principle when monitoring the Group’s compliance with the Code of Conduct is self-assessment, supported by randomly conducted third-party audits. Health and safety matters are monitored by the Safety@Work system, and based on internal audits.
