• Number of employees at year-end 2010: 5,110 (4,485)

• 23 (27) production plants in Europe, North and South America and India

• Several plants have 50-150 employees. Four (three) units have more than 300 employees. The largest plant is located in Hal-Far (Malta), with about 530 employees.

• The head office is in Stuttgart, Germany

• 20 of 23 units have hold ISO 14001 certification

• ISO 14001 certification in Hudson Medical (US) and Modena (Italy)

• Safety@Work Blue Grading audits were implemented at 11 plants

• Reduced energy consumption due to conservation measures in Rotherham (UK) and Cadley Hill (UK)

• Reduced water consumption in Rotherham (UK) and Sao Paulo (Brazil)

• Improved waste management in Broomfield (US) and Cadley Hill (UK)

• Comprehensive revision of chemical management in pace with the implementation of European chemical regulation REACH.
