Trelleborg's applied technologies operation is taking performance in the quarrying and mining industries to new levels by showcasing its extensive range of screen media and ancillary polyurethane products, at the Hillhead Exhibition in Buxton, England.
Located on stand PC26, visitors will have the opportunity to view the company’s portfolio of screening systems, specifically its Scandura range of screen media; including Scandura 600 system, Scan 85, Scan-step, Scan-planks, flip flop mats and traditional tensioned mats.
Paul Hobson, Sales Manager at Trelleborg's applied technologies operation based in the UK commented: “Exhibiting at Hillhead provides us with the ideal environment to really listen to our customers’ needs to ensure that our solutions truly align with their requirements. Using our engineering expertise in molded polyurethane materials we are able to offer a wide range of screen media and aperture sizes to match customer specific machine and grading.
“Our specialized polymer materials are used to create a corrosion resistant, light-weight and flexible alternative to conventional steel wire screens used in the mineral and extraction industry. With a full range of polyurethane ancillaries, including skirting, pump impellors and many other accessories, our complete polyurethane product line accelerates performance for the quarrying and mining industries.”
Trelleborg's Scan 85 System is used to classify and screen materials across the aggregate, mineral, recycling and other associated industries. It is a direct replacement for other popular screening systems and is available in a wide range of apertures and shore hardness's to suit many applications.
In addition, the Scandura tensioned system is a corrosion resistant, polyurethane screen that is self-supporting, eliminating the need to bolt the mat to the support frame. The Scandura screen mat is abrasion and impact resistant, meaning that replacement is less frequent and can in fact be scheduled, reducing unplanned downtime and loss of production.
Hillhead is one of the world’s biggest and best shows set in a real working quarry environment. It provides a showcase for plant, equipment and services for the quarrying, construction and recycling industries and is supported by 450 leading international exhibitors.
