Privacy Notice and legal disclaimer

PRIVACY STATEMENT: pursuant to and with the effects of the provisions on privacy according to current legislation applicable to a Data Controller – Trelleborg Wheel Systems Italia Spa – (Italian Legislative Decree No.196/2003 “Personal Data Protection Code” and its subsequent amendments and additions) the information to interested parties is hereby given as specified by Art. 13 “Information”.

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING: the data, acquired directly from the interested party by means of electronic or hard copies, will be used for the correct management of the relationship with the interested party, including any related communications and to improve the services being offered. In particular and merely as an example, we would mention the following purposes:
providing answers to requests for information;
managing the registration of user profiles and related functions;
performing promotional activities such as competitions with prizes, customer loyalty campaigns, invitations to events etc.;
providing information on products and services, also using electronic means (emails, text messages etc.) or by direct contact;
managing the relationship with the customer in the best possible way, through customisation and constant improvements in the level of service;
providing the service of a periodical newsletter.
 
NATURE OF PROVISION AND CONSEQUENCES OF ANY REFUSAL TO REPLY: the data marked with an asterisk (*) is obligatory; the failure to give this information will make it impossible to provide the service. The provision of other data is optional and aimed at customising the service and improving relations with the interested party.     
 
SPHERE OF COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION: the data is entered onto a computerised management system, which has high standards of security (safekeeping and protection against loss, destruction and unauthorised access). The data is used by specifically assigned personnel, who are part of the Business Area Wheel Systems of the Trelleborg Group. Any international sharing/transfer of the data among entities within the Group (especially outside the EU) will be done exclusively in line with adequate safety protocols safeguarding the rights of the interested parties. 
The data may be communicated to external parties (postal services, banks, consultancies, software technical maintenance staff etc.) exclusively when it is necessary for the correct management of the relationship with the interested party and in the presence of adequate guarantees.
The data will be stored for a period of time compatible with the purposes for which it was collected, generally coinciding with the duration of the relationship with the interested party and related legal obligations.
 
RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY: the interested party has the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them, the source of the data and the purposes and procedures for processing the data. The interested party also has the right to obtain the updating, rectification, integration and erasure of the data or the blocking thereof if processed unlawfully, and may, on legitimate grounds, object to the processing of the said data. The rights referred to in Art. 7 of It.Leg.Dec No. 196/2003 and the possibility of erasing one's data from the archives will be mentioned every time computerised communications are sent via email, particularly with reference to the newsletter service.

In addition, interested parties may at any time ask for details identifying any appointed Data Processors. Lastly, interested parties may ask about the sphere of communication of personal data and obtain precise information regarding any external entities who operate as Data Processors, persons In Charge of Processing or as independent Data Controllers.
