Just released in February, 2009, the new Vulcan Kart-One is a hybrid blanket, which has been specially developed for use with either conventional or UV inks. The competitively-priced blankets are available throughout Europe and have been designed to provide extremely high smash resistance plus superb print quality, ink transfer and dot control. In addition to extremely high durability on the press, the unique top face compound ensures first class printing quality, whether using conventional or UV inks. The highly compressible top layer allows the blankets to be used within a wide range of packaging applications, including metal decorative printing. The new blankets are available to match any sheet-fed packaging press format.
