Standard Compensators
When pipes, pumps, tanks and other components are fitted, alignment errors, vibrations and/or thermal expansion can occur. Such problems can be solved by using Trelleborg’s standard compensators. This standard range goes from DN25 up to DN4000, and can be supplied in an extensive range of rubber compounds. If required, these compensators can be supplied with tie-rods, lateral protection and cardan systems. The build lengths depend on the type chosen and the pressure rating. If the standard version does not satisfy your requirements, and a different size or pressure or temperature is required, then Trelleborg Velp can engineer and produce a custom-made solution for you.
