NVH Laminates
Trelleborg Automotive Kalmar AB manufactures three types of noise damping laminates. Duru-LAM, Rub-LAM and Visco-LAM.
Duru-LAM and
Rub-LAM are both laminates made of sheet metal vulcanized together with rubber. This material composite is unique due to our specialised, and globally patented, production process.
The sandwich construction acts as one homogenous material and it is virtually impossible to separate the layers.
Visco-LAM is a laminate of sheet metal plates glued together with visco elastic material.
