Sub flooring for rooms with moisture and odour problems


Functional
The 3 mm thick ribbed rubber mat completely separates the indoor air from the sick sub floor. With underpressure ventilation moisture and odour are ventilated out of the building. The system Trelleborg ventilated sub flooring is simple to function control.

High strength - only 3 mm building height
The system gives very low building height. Normally 5-6 mm including the top flooring. Thanks to the ventilated sub floorings high strength there is no need for chipboards or similar for the flooring to be able to resist heavy loads.

Indoor environment
The air is sucked into the system through the dust-filter equipped air intake. The air passes under the ventilated sub flooring and then it's lead out of the building. This prevents the problems from getting into the indoor environment. All emissions from substances in the concrete are separated efficiently. The ventilated sub flooring is age resistant and prevents adhesives and softeners from getting in contact with alkaline moisture. This prevents new emissions from occurring.

The ventilated sub flooring is sound reducing and gives better ergonomics when walking and standing on the flooring. Heated air is sucked down under the flooring, which gives a comfortable temperature on the flooring. The low airflow means no disturbing ventilation sounds.

Cost efficient
The flooring contractor who lays the top flooring can also install the ventilated sub flooring. The system requires no total reconstruction and can quickly be installed in one room at a time. The low building height means that doors don't need to be cut and that the connection with adjoining floors, stairs etc will be simple.

Only a small amount of air is needed to obtain an efficient ventilation, which gives very little heat loss and running expenses. The system with ventilated sub flooring can often be connected to an already existing ventilation which gives low installation and maintenance costs.
