Most of Trelleborgs rubber flooring can be made both with and without polyester felt backing. The felt makes it possible for the flooring to be installed with environmentally friendly, water-based adhesive making protective gear unnecessary. Flooring without polyester felt backing is only recommended when the floor is loose laid. When wet-gluing a flooring with felt backing it's just to apply the adhesive with a trowel on the sub-floor, lay the flooring and press hard, preferably with a flooring roller. Then you have the possibility to adjust the flooring as long as the adhesive hasn't dried.

A floor layer should always be consulted in order to get the best possible solution for each specific installation.
