History

First introduced in 1854, the Rollin brand has a rich history in the printing industry.  Through several acquisitions and management changes, the products have endured and grown into the strong product line that is once again called Rollin.



1854
J. Rollin and S. Levy start the company and become strongly positioned in the textile screen printing industry
1969
Rollin acquired by Grace (W.R. Grace) to form the Printing Products Division
1982
First offset blankets are produced in Cernay, France
1995
Group of managers take the Grace Printing Products Division private forming Polyfibron Technologies
1996
Polyfibron acquires Axcyl, NAPP Systems, Jager in Europe
1999
Acquisition of Supratech Systems
1999
Polyfibron merges with MacDermid creating MacDermid Graphic Arts, more recently called MacDermid Printing Solutions
2008
Trelleborg AB acquires the Printing Blanket Division of MacDermid Printing Solutions
2008
MacDermid Printing Blankets rebranded Rollin
