Established in 1946, Forsheda is a leading brand in poylmer and pipe sealing technology. Forsheda has pioneered many new sealing systems including integrated seals for concrete and plastic whereby the seal is integrated into the socket during manufacturing.
Since 2003 Forsheda is a Trelleborg brand. By joining the Trelleborg Group , the strenght of Forsheda is combined with the experience of Trelleborg. This results in Trelleborg Pipe Seals: a pioneer in (new) sealing systems and patents with Swedish engineering and Swedish quality.With the beginning of 2011 and the development of our new marketing tools, a modern Forsheda design and logo will be introduced worldwide.
The former logo was developed in 1998. After 12 years it was time to refresh the logo and make it more in line with the Trelleborg identity. A clear and consistence visual identity sharpens the focus of our brand.
The graphics of the seal and it's overall expression is now more in line with our Trelleborg group identity and enforces the group connection and communication. More progressive and contemporary than its predecessor, the new Forsheda logo elevates the brand essence to its key message: Solutions securing value.
Forsheda AB was founded in 1946 and has built up a leading edge competence in polymer technology and in several application areas over the years. In October 2003 Forsheda was acquired by the Trelleborg Group. Trelleborg Pipe Seals is now a unit within the Business area Trelleborg Engineered Systems.
