Launch area protection
Vikodeck Missile is a specially developed rubber protection concept for fire and blast protection of missile launch areas on warships and vehicles.
The system is based on our the well established Firestop technology concept which was originally developed for the offshore industry. Firestop is well known for providing compact, blast-proof passive fire protection of structures and equipment. Panels of blast and fire resistant rubber can be easily installed on deck, structures and other equipment to give ultimate protection if a hang fire occurs. The Vikodeck Missile resists the extreme blast and heat load from missiles and the product can be tailor made to suit a variety of applications.
