Trelleborg releases new version of Monarch M2 Solid Tire

Trelleborg Wheel Systems introduces an improved version of its Monarch M2 solid tire for industrial applications such as material handling and ground support equipment.
Like the original, the improved M2 is a three-stage tire with wire beads in the heel and a tread compound engineered to provide longer tire life. The new version offers a more aggressive tread design in the larger sizes and is manufactured in an even longer lasting compound that offers additional chip and chunk resistance, while retaining the same level of heat resistance, preventing premature tire failure.
Managing Director of Trelleborg Wheel Systems Americas, Inc., Ydo Doornbos says: “Field testing has proven that the Monarch M2 is truly a premium resilient tire providing industry-leading tire life. Cherokee Tire is an existing customer for Monarch M2. North Region Manager, Jason Cunningham says: “We have been very impressed with the tread life and ride quality of the current M2, and we are excited and looking forward to the improved traction of the deeper lug in the new tire. We feel the tire will last longer with more usable rubber and provide a ride better. They are making a great tire even better.”
