Specifically designed for bow mooring and FPSO spread moorings requiring the feature to release the mooring lines in case of emergency.
Quick release chain stoppers are often used for FPSO bow mooring and for spread mooring, where the design requires the feature to safely release the mooring under load. Load monitoring with local and cargo control room display and remote release are common options to monitor the mooring operation and safely release in case of emergency.
