Silicone hoses
Mar-Con is producer of straight and elbow silicone hoses, branch and reducers. Low cost tooling permit opportunity of customer based silicone hoses in reasonable price.
Properties
Silicone hoses resist high temperature differences without problems, while the temperature resistance of ordinary "black rubber hose" does not exceed +80 degrees. The high temperature resistance of silicone makes non-leaking joints and durable hoses.
Both silicone hose with and without an inner tube come in 1000 mm long standard size, with inner diameters of 5 mm or higher. 90-degree silicone bends are also available in standard size, back dimensions 150 x 150 mm, with diameters of 8 mm or higher.
Silicone hoses are particularly appreciated by the motor and automotive industry because of their dependability. Silicone hoses also have a number of applications in the process industry, where temperatures exceed 100 degrees.
Selection according to temperature
- Maximum temperature +170 degrees. "Regular" blue or green silicone hose, reinforced by polyester fabric.
- Maximum temperature +250 degrees. Red silicone hose, material iron oxide-silicone and reinforced by Nomex fabric.
Selection according to substance to be conveyed
- air: model without inner tube
- liquid: model with inner tube
- resistance to chemicals and oils depends very much on the concentrations of active substances, and selection must be made separately for each substance

Hoses can also be produced to customer's drawings: Reducers, bends, hose lengths, special reinforcements, the number of reinforcements, branches and colors can be customized to suit your needs.
