Typical applications

Rubber products for engineering purposes are used in the following areas of application:

Energy absorbtion:
Rubber elements for energy absorption are used for the transfer of the kinetic energy of moving bodies to rigid constructions.

energy-absorbation

Sealing:
Rubber has very good sealing properties due to its soft and elastic behaviour.

Sealing
Structural bearings:
Rubber blocks can transfer vertical loads in combination with shear and rotation
Shock-absorber and vibration-damper:
Flexible elements that are used for the insulation of sound and vibration generating equipment from their foundation.
Flexible elements:
The construction of flexible elements, like hoses and expansion joints, consists of rubber lining material forming a medium resistant and a fluid- or gas-tight shield, together with reinforcing plies.
Special applications:
Of course any combination of above properties can be combined to solve the client's specific technical challenge.
