Our advanced non-linear finite element computer modeling technology (FEA) allows our engineers to predict the performance of bearings and seals in application to a high degree of accuracy. Most of our products can be tested in our own test laboratory and we can also give technical support to our customers.
Our rubber products are designed to satisfy specific client requirements with respect to force-compression behaviour, inflation pressure, energy absorption etc.
This requires the ability to predict the behaviour of the product under static load, deformation, inflation pressure or dynamic loading. Straightforward or specially developed calculation methods are available but when more detailed results are required, finite-element analysis with FEM software has to be applied. For products under dynamic loading, study of the fatigue behaviour might be required. When a load- or deflection-frequency spectrum is available, for most cases the expected lifetime of a rubber bearing can be estimated.
