Metalastik became part of Trelleborg Automotive – Trelleborg Industrial AVS was created when Trelleborg Novibra and Metalastik joined forces. The “Novibra” brand name has existed in the market for about 60 years.

Trelleborg Industrial AVS was created in 2000 when Trelleborg’s Novibra® division and Metalastik® joined forces.
Like the Trelleborg Group, the origins of Metalastik® are in rubber production. The Leicester Rubber Company, founded in 1906, served as the basis for Metalastik®, which was introduced in 1937.
Since its inception, Novibra® has grown within the Trelleborg Group and acquired its present form in the late 1980s. The “Novibra®” brand name, however, has existed in the market for about 60 years.
