Vulcanization

Vulcanization gives the rubber compound its final characteristics: elasticity, resistance to fluids, abrasion, temperature, etc.

It makes all the hose components (inner tube, reinforcement and cover) finally solid.

Vulcanization is carried out with steam, pressurized in horizontal or vertical autoclaves, at a temperature between 140 °C and 170 °C for 20-50 minutes.
