International Breakthrough for ELASTOPIPE™ Flexible Sprinkler and Deluge System

ELASTOPIPE™ continues to achieve success

Trelleborg Engineered Systems has secured the first major international contract for ELASTOPIPE™ on the UK Continental Shelf. The customer, CNR (Canadian Natural Resources), will use ELASTOPIPE™ to upgrade its existing firewater system on the Ninian platforms.

ELASTOPIPE™ is a flexible piping system with unique patented properties that are completely different from traditional piping systems.  The ELASTOPIPE™ system is made from reinforced synthetic rubber and has been developed for deluge and sprinkler systems in hazardous environments.

CNR is focusing on safety and ELASTOPIPE™ was chosen on the basis of its unique properties, safety aspect and lifetime cost.
