Methodology
In trenchless rehabilitation methodology, a general distinction is made between sectional or part repairs by means of patch or short liners and complete renovation of sewers and pipe runs by means of the cured-in-place pipe lining techniques or consistently sealing coatings.
Both methods for the repair of both man-entry and non man-entry sewer lines have established themselves for many years as a sophisticated economical and technical alternative to traditional repair techniques involving digging up the grounds.
They are meanwhile a proven and reasonable-cost method for the substantial extension of the service lives of pipe runs.
A basic condition is that the materials used in repairs and renovations are suitable for this type of application and that the installation process meets stringent quality criteria.
