Coated Spheres
Trelleborg Emerson & Cuming's team of researchers is actively working to create advanced processes for the proprietary coating of glass, ceramic and carbon microspheres using such diverse materials as titanium dioxide, titanium, silver, nickel, carbon and copper.
The aim of the research is to produce hollow spheres with custom-coatings that can enhance the strength of the balloons and support the manufacture of resin systems, paints and other critical applications that required outstanding performance characteristics.
