Vamac® sheeting
Vamac® (AEM) sheeting maintains all its mechanical properties when working at temperatures from -60ºC and up to 175ºC. It is widely used in industrial maintenance for its resistance to oils and other adverse factors, and in fact it is the most common alternative to HNBR sheeting when temperature requirements are not extreme.
-
Good temperature range from -60º C to +175º C constant and up to +200ºC intermittently.
-
Excellent resistance to ozone and weathering.
-
At elevated temperatures it exhibits reasonable mechanical properties, bur lower compression set characteristics.
-
Good general resistance to heat, water and steam.
-
Resistance to chemicals; moderate resistance to oils, natural fats and some salts. Not normally recommended for use with aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatics, chlorate or alkalis.
