CPE/CM rubber sheeting
CPE/CM (Chlorinated Polyethylene) sheeting is highly resistant to ageing even when exposed to adverse weather conditions. This characteristic, together with its resistance to hydrocarbonated solvents and to most inorganic chemical products, makes it a good alternative to CSM sheeting for most applications.
- Excellent resistance to ageing, ozone, ultraviolet light.
- Long term weathering performance, better than EPDM.
- Excellence thermal stability and compression set.
- High continuous operating temperature: -35 / + 135 ºC.
- Good mechanicals properties.
- Excellent resistance to hydrocarbonated solvents and the most inorganic chemicals, except chlorine and concentrated oxidising acids.
- Resistant to alcohols.
- Good resistance to hydrocarbons oils and fuels.
- Lack of tack. Only moderate adhesion to metal.
- Flame resistant.
