Steven Sun
Steven Sun graduated with a Bachelor degree in 2010. His master’s degree is within Mechanical Engineering and Nuclear Power Engineering. His career ambition is to become a manager with great leadership and a creative side. “It’s a matter of creating as much value as possible,” he says.
Currently Steven is involved in projects within Trelleborg Coated Systems Pudong: A waste saving project more or less finished and a converting layout project still in process. Expected learnings from the Trainee program include knowledge about a project manager’s job and various tools for work excellence. Now, he is practicing what he has learned from trainee sessions in Sweden and the Netherlands in his projects.
In addition, he also works as a coordinator for the manufacturing excellence plan in Trelleborg Pudong, and he has suggested a new design layout for the machines. Inbetween, he does some extra job as an assistant to the HR department addressing some challenges.
In his free time, he enjoys kendo and basketball. Sports give him new energy.
